Our property is conveniently located in Naseby, 2000 feet above worry level. A historic gold mining town in Central Otago, Naseby is a relic of the past, situated in a beautiful unique setting.
 
At 2000 feet (600 metres) above sea level, Naseby has a special tranquil atmosphere where you can truly relax and soak in the history with a glass of Central Otago wine.
 
Mountain View Accommodation offers a choice between two self-contained cottages with 2 and 3 bedrooms respectively, two studio units and a self-contained 1-bedroom flat. All have ensuites or have their own bathrooms. There is good heating in all units and they are fully serviced. There are fully equipped kitchens (except in studio units) and queen-size beds. 
 
Mountain View is conveniently located 700 metres from the village centre and 700 metres from the ice rinks and luge. Eileen and Stuart will share their hospitality and local knowledge while you enjoy the special tranquil atmosphere of Naseby.
 
From the warm, spacious, comfortably furnished accommodation you can enjoy the many varied attractions of this beautiful area.

 

Activities include:
Indoor curling all year, outdoor curling and luge from June to September. Mountain biking is popular and we are only 12km from Otago Central Rail Trail. Hiking and forest walks in surrounding countryside. Golf, bowls and tennis are all in close proximity. Four-wheel-drive touring over many interesting mountain roads. Discovering and experiencing gold-mining history including gold fossicking.

Mountain View Accommodation is located on Channel Road and is 700 metres from the village centre with historic hotels, shop and restaurant. We are 12km from Otago Central Rail Trail and offer a pick-up and return service to the Rail Trail by arrangement. We cater for holidaymakers, sports and family groups. The golf course is just a short drive up the road.
It is under 1 hour 45 minute's drive from Dunedin and 2 hour's drive from Queenstown, with airports in both centres.
